Glossy finishes make the entire room sparkle and shine, while matte finishes are more understated and elegant. Tiled vs. Slab

Most granite is installed by the slab, which means a large piece of stone is used with little or no grout. However, if you are looking to cut back on the budget of this project, you may want to consider asking about tiled granite instead. Tiled granite is installed in individual square tiles instead of large slabs. Installing tiled granite is much less labor intensive, so you may be able to save a bit of money by choosing this style. However, you should keep in mind that if you use tiled granite, you will have to regularly clean the grout just as you have to clean the grout in your bathroom shower or on your tile floors.
