In the past many blogs, We have explored many of these considerations and are now discovering the different types of natural stone flooring for your kitchen. We will now be focusing on all the different types of flooring for your dream kitchen.

We discussed some basic considerations to think about when choosing your kitchen flooring. Of course, you want your flooring to be long lasting and durable because you want to have it for a long time, after all, it is a big investment. You also want it to reflect your style and overall aesthetic because it can be such a large space.

In our last blog, we moved onto discussing the pros of the next type of natural flooring for your kitchen, marble flooring. We talked about aesthetic pros such as marble’s ability to shine when polished well. Another pro is marble’s ability to transmit light. This means, depending on the amount of sunlight, that marble will have a sort of glow to it. All of this makes it a lovely choice for your kitchen.

In this week’s blog Denver’s Natural Stone Sales will continue to discuss the pros of using marble flooring in your kitchen. We will soon move onto some of the cons to consider when choosing marble flooring for your kitchen.

Pros

Variety of Colors
In addition to the other aesthetic benefits of marble mentioned above, marble also comes in a variety of colors to fit nearly any kitchen color scheme. Because marble is natural, you will have to think about it not being so consistent throughout. But, if you have a few colors in mind, it will be easy enough to find and highlight those colors in your marble flooring.

In addition to the variety of colors, you can also find a variety of patterns within this natural stone. You can stick to the natural patterns within the marble, or you can think about including individual inlay designs and patterns within your marble kitchen floor.

These inlays might also be incorporated into your kitchen backsplash. In this way, you incorporate your theme and style throughout your kitchen. These can be a great way to highlight your particular style and design. Each of these will be unique to only your kitchen.

Heat Conduction
This is probably not what you think of when you think of marble. Usually, we tend to believe that marble is, well, stone cold (pun intended.) And it is, but, it is an excellent natural material for homes that use radiant heat for warmth.

As well, if you live in warmer, humid climates, then marble flooring will be great in those summer months. Its coolness will be a relief on those hot summer days.

Believe it or not, there are still a few more pros we need to discover in our next blog. Then we will move onto some of the cons of using marble flooring in your kitchen. For all your flooring needs check out Denver’s Natural Stone Sales.
